About Holy Cross Church
The Basilica of the Holy Cross is at Krakowskie Przedmieście 3, opposite the University. Inside are a great gilded altar and side chapels, and the place where the heart of Fryderyk Chopin rests: an urn set into one of the pillars (Warsaw Tourism Office). Świętokrzyska Street takes its name from the church.
Opening hours, prices and seasonal openings change, so please check with Holy Cross Church before you go.
